Vicki McPherson, Owner/Director

Vicki has coached gymnastics, directed gymnastics programs, and developed lesson plans for well over 40 years. She was originally trained by her father, owner and coach, of the Gymnastic Academy of Boston. Her own coaching experience now includes all levels from preschool and recreational programs to pre-team developmental programs. Vicki’s love of sports and physical exercise inspires generations of students. Some former students have become coaches at TumbleFun and some, now grown, are bringing their own children to the programs. Vicki and several staff members annually attend the Gymnastics National Congress.


 

JJ, Boys Coach

JJ is Vicki’s eldest son and a 3rd generation gymnastics coach. While growing up, JJ participated in high level gymnastics programs until he was 12. He began doing other sports and excelled in football, skiing, and rugby. He was a competitive skier, captain of the Marshfield High School rugby team, and name to the all-star team two years in a row. JJ is a graduate of Northeastern University with honors and a licensed real estate broker. JJ has been coaching at TumbleFun for over 18 years.


 

Miss Samantha, Preschool & Girls Coach

Annual Certification – CPR and First Aid

Sam is a graduate from Whitman Hanson High School and has since received an Associates degree in Science from Massasoit Community College. Miss Sam started dancing at age 3 and has been a competitive dancer for over ten years. Sam has a background in not only coaching gymnastics but also dance & cheerleading. She loves working with children and seeing them develop and learn alongside building relationships with each student. Outside of Tumblefun Sam enjoys spending time outside and staying active! She has attended National Gymnastics congress in 2011 & 2013 and has implemented new and exciting skills into Tumblefun’s fun lessons! Sam has been a part of the Tumblefun Team since 2008.


 

Miss Carly, Girls Coach

Carly is a 2010 Graduate from the University of New Hampshire where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies with a Specialty in Child Advocacy and Family Policy and a Minor in Education. Along with the Center For Professional Excellence in Child Welfare, Carly assisted in implementing training programs throughout the state of New Hampshire for all Social Workers. She has also created lesson plans and administered them in numerous kindergarten classrooms. Carly was a cheerleader for nine years and has helped coach Marshfield Youth Cheerleading. She attended the National Gymnastics Congress in 2011, 2013 & 2014. Carly has been working at Tumblefun since 2005.
